SCA Certified Brewers

• Breville Precision Brewer
  This brewer uses the same 15 bar heater that is in their espresso machines.  It meets/exceeds all SCA standards as well as having a digital read out with MANY customizations.  There's an add on for single cup pour-over style coffee on this brewer as well.  Breville is a quality brand with quality results.  We recommend their espresso machines too!

• Bonavita BV1900TS
  Bonavita is a well known name in the drip brewer world.  They have been on the SCA certified list for over 10 years and is a well all around brewer.  Simple flip switch usage and away she goes!  This drip machine is also good for utilizing a Chemex style brewer.

• OXO On 9-Cup
  OXO is an up and coming brand that we are liking.  Their price point with having quality equipment is on par with our standards.  OXO has been in the market for some time, but hasn't been recognized until recently.  We like the idea that they are willing to change based on what their customers recommend.

• Technivorm Moccamaster KBT
  The quality build is amazing.  Technivorm has been on the SCA list for about as long as Bonavita.  Again, produces a consistent cup each time and their technical support is very helpful!

• Cuisinart CPO-850
  With it's LCD screen and programming options, this brewer produces a consistent cup of coffee.  While not as customizable as others, this brewer produces a fine cup of coffee.

Other Brewers (non-SCA Certified)

• SimplyGoodCoffee Olson Brewer
  Y'all.  This brewer is on the cheaper end (cost-wise), but outputs amazing coffee for the cost.  Well worth the investment!
  
  

• Behmor Connected / Brazen Plus
  This brewer held the number 1 spot on the SCA certified list for numerous years.  This brewer is 100% controlled by an app on your phone and has no screen on it.  Just a large "start/stop" button and a "DADO" button.  It features different things such as altitude, prebloom time, and water temp settings.  The app allows for custom settings to be saved for different coffee roast types.

• Bunn Heat~N~Brew
  Another previously certified SCA brewer, this Bunn produces a consistent cup every time.  Certified and a trusted name of "Bunn", what else can you ask for?

• Bunn BX Speed Brew
  What we like about this brewer is that it can brew a decent cup of coffee in under 2 minutes.  The reservoir keeps water at a consistent temperature so that when you brew, you get a "continuous pour" of consistent temperature of water which provides a more consistent cup of coffee.

• BUNN CSB3T Speed Brew Platinum
  Same with the BX above, this brewer is FAST.  It features a thermal carafe which is what we prefer as hot plates tend to cook your coffee.

Manual Brewers

  Created with Borosilicate, this brewer includes a glass handle to ensure that you will not get burned.  Laser-cut stainless steel filter holes trap grounds, while allowing natural oils and flavors through.  The pour over is not to be used with paper filters, which makes for less expense and waste.  Professional-quality design ensures you get a proper cup every time and any time. 

• Bodum Pour Over
  Manual pour over Coffee maker allows you to brew an excellent cup of Coffee in minutes.  Includes a permanent, stainless steel mesh filter that helps extract your coffee's aromatic oils and subtle flavors instead of being absorbed by a paper filter.  Made of durable, heat-resistant borosilicate glass with cork band detailing that is both functional and elegant.  Simply add coarse ground coffee to filter, pour a small amount of heated water in a circular motion over ground Coffee until soaked then add the remaining water and let drip.  

• Chemex Funnex

Splurge Grinders

• Eureka (brand)
  Eureka has been around since 1920 and makes some of the best grinders to date.  Mainly for espresso, the flat burr setup, all steel construction, and overpowered motor allows for good powdery grinds and an overall great coffee experience
  
  

• Baratza Encore
  Conical burr grinder that has 40 grind settings.  Baratza is a trusted brand within the coffee world.
  
  

• Baratza Vario W+
  This grinder boasts solid steel flat burrs and has a built in scale so you're able to get that perfect water/coffee ratio without waste.
  
  

• Breville Smart Grinder Pro
  This grinder has over 80 grind settings and uses a conical stainless-steel burr.  It works well for all variations of brewing coffee (drip, espresso, pour over, cold brew, etc.). 
  
  

• Breville Dose Control Pro
  Another Breville conical burr grinder that is specifically made for espresso.
  
  

• OXO Brew
  The name is deceiving, but this is a grinder.  It has 15 settings and is a good all around conical burr grinder for home use.
  
  

• Fellow Opus
  Fellow is a great brand and this conical burr grinder offers the ability to grind from drip coffee to espresso - not to mention it's quieter than most grinders listed here.
  
  

• Fellow Ode 2
  The successor to the Ode 1, the redesign has made coffee grinding better!  This grinder has many upgraded options, but it mainly for drip and coarse grind coffee.  It is compatible with SSP burrs as well! 

Budget Grinders

• YaeMarine Grinder
  This grinder may seem sketchy by the name, but the quality build of construction is very nice.  It utilizes stainless steel flat burrs that are very similar to the old commercial grinders you'd find at the grocery stores.  The motor and burr cage construction are made out of heavy metal.  The stand/foot and loading & catch hopper are made from plastic.
  
  

• Bodum Bistro
  Bodum builds solid equipment.  While it's not the best, the price point is very affordable and grinds consistently.

Manual Grinders

• 1Zspresso Q2
  Being one of the most expensive manual grinders we've ever purchased, this grinder produces excellent grinds that are consistent every grind. With dual bearing and triaxial design, this grinder has increased stability for better consistency of the grind. Over 60 clicks for the general setting. Simply unscrew for a general cleaning. Easy apart off cleaning thoroughly without any tool. With proper assembly, you don't even need to recalibrate again. The burr was calibrated and fixed in place by the 1Zpresso team, ensure no wobbly parts or burrs that come loose.
  
  

• Hario Skerton Pro Ceramic
  Made of plastic and glass and sporting ceramic burrs, this grinder can hold up to eight cups worth of ground coffee. It can be adjusted to produce finer or coarser coffee, depending on your intended brewing method.  Includes a detachable handle for easy storage.
  
  

• Hario Mini Slim Plus
  Ceramic mill is easily adjusted for right grind coarseness providing a consistent grind for perfect fresh coffee.  Small lightweight and slim design makes for easy storage and travel can be stored without handle.  Easy to read measurements up to 2 cups of storage.  Stepped grind adjustment mechanism is easy to use and change.

Pour Over Accessories

• Chemex Folded Square Filters
  The Chemex filter is folded into a cone shape, exactly as in laboratory techniques. This assures uniform extraction since the water filters through all the grounds on its way to the apex of the cone. The Chemex filter will not burst under the weight of the liquid during filtration or break when lifting out the grounds.
  
  

• Barista Warrior Stainless Filter
  This pour over coffee filter size was designed to fit Chemex coffee makers (6, 8, 10 cup) and Hario V60 02 and 03. Made from stainless steel, this pour over filter will also fit most coffee drippers.  No more disposable paper filters since it inhibits the brewing process by blocking the majority of coffee’s natural oils and nutrients. Our permanent cones coffee filter is more economical and eco-friendly, holds its shape despite the bulk number of uses.  The metal coffee filter has dual filtration, with a stainless steel mesh on the inside, and a laser-cut filter on the inside.
